Malang, (Saturday, 25th January 2025) – SDIA 56 Malang recently hosted its annual International Day event, themed “Exploring the wonders of China”. The event aimed to introduce students and the broader community to the rich culture and traditions of China. Held at Al Azhar 56 Malang, the event featured a distinguished guest speaker from China, Ms Deng Zhaoyue, also known as Ms Melati. She captivated the audience with her insights into Chinese history, culture, and traditions.
“We are delighted to have Ms. Melati as our special guest for the 2025 International Day,” said Mr. Ramlih, Principal of SDIA 56 Malang. “Her presence offers us invaluable insights and firsthand experience of Chinese culture from a native perspective.” To make the International Day event even more vibrant, a variety of engaging activities were held. including a Chinese cultural exhibition, traditional Chinese dance and music performances, and a Chinese food competition.

All members of SDIA 56 Malang students, staff, teachers, and parents-enthusiastically participated in the event. We wearing traditional Chinese attire and performing Chinese folk songs. “International Day is such a fun experience,” said one of the students. “We get to learn about Chinese culture and engage with Ms. Melati, who is very friendly and eager to share her knowledge with us.”
